Will's expecting it, but there's still an immense surge of adrenaline that rises when Hannibal's mouth finds Will's, and though these feelings aren't new, the attraction, the desire to be physically close, the reaction is stronger and more visceral than Will expected. He knows he should probably let Hannibal drive this, but Will can't help the way the kiss affects him, his mouth opening to taste Hannibal's lower lip, his own hand cupping Hannibal's jaw, fingers hooked and pressing into Hannibal's flesh.
He manages to keep himself from pushing further, but he's desperate for more, for Hannibal to open his mouth and let Will inside, for Hannibal to take what he wants from Will without caution or restraint. He doesn't know how much time they have, but Will's willing to cut it close, to take things right up to the last minute so they don't have to stop this until they're both ready for it to end.
